Method

  1. Preheat oven to 175°C (350°F) on the middle rack. Melt chocolate with oil in pot over low heat; cool slightly.
  2. Whisk in sugar, eggs, vanilla. Fold dry ingredients.
  3. Smooth top; bake 22–28 minutes until set edges and soft center on the middle rack.
  4. Dust sugar; serve warm from the pot with berries or cream.

Kitchen note

Cook's Notes: Do not overbake — fudgy is the goal. Line base with parchment if you want cleaner slices.
